Clear terms for a simple site that provides information about Backplane and a pre-registration list.
This site
The content on this site is informational and provided as is. We work to keep it accurate and support every product claim, but it does not constitute a contractual promise of features, dates, or performance. Launch dates are targets subject to quality controls and may change.
Pre-registration
Joining the list creates no obligation for either party. We will tell you about the launch, and you can unsubscribe at any time. The privacy policy details the information we store.
The software
Once the repository is public, Backplane will be distributed under its own licenses: AGPL for the core and MIT for the runner. Those licenses, not this page, govern use of the software.
Names and marks
“Backplane” and “Valaris” identify our work. Third-party names mentioned on this site, such as Claude, Codex, and GitHub, belong to their respective owners, and their mention does not imply a relationship or endorsement.

You can reply to any email from us or contact us through the pre-registration list. A person will always respond.
